Money is good if you are willing to threaten to quit. The benefits are good but nothing special. 15% premium for the TS/SCI w/CI

Cons

Our group worked 100% in the office during covid. This was due to the paranoid nature of our director. Bullying culture: I have never seen so much bullying in my life. I know 2 managers that have almost gotten fired over harassing their subordinates. We had a senior leader get fired this year due to harassment. SCIF work is brutal on mental health, especially during covid. Lack of WFH opportunities. Managers talk politics and shove their political views down our throats. Director is paranoid about new technology so we are stuck in 2004. No one wants to join us because of stone age tech. Understaffed and overworked. They didn't tell me I was going to have to get a clearance and polygraph when I interviewed. We have layers of management while only a few developers who do work. Technical managers just spout off nonsense to pretend they know what they are talking about. They just get in the way. No career trajectory for young people.
