      Pros

      Decent pay for my role in my team, but that's because not all sectors of Civil Engineering pay the same. I believe my decent pay is because I changed jobs so rather than an internal promotion I managed to push for more to join the company. Varied work, flexible work structure, good work life balance.

      Cons

      Given my experience the pay isn't bad although I still feel Civil Engineering in the UK is massively underpaid. I've only been here 1 year so not too sure what the pay jump will be when I get to Senior Engineer or when I get chartered.
