There are a lot of opportunities for a young engineer. Being such a large company, engineers are able to work on multiple types of projects and with any different project managers.

Cons

They are too big and do not have a clear focus. Buzz words are used to describe the vision of the company. Not convincing.

Pros

Large corporation with diverse services portfolio. Good brand name in the transportation sector. When they are in a hiring mode, there are usually many job openings for new grads.

Cons

Little re-investment into employee training, management training, tools, etc. Lack of creative vision in their approach to the markets. Stone-age management systems and laughable processes and procedures.
