Pros

They have many locations and there are hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs available. There is a large variety of jobs and many opportunities for advancement.

Cons

The company is so big that they have lost control of many areas of the business--you might get stuck working for a bad manager, who treats you horribly, and find there is nothing you can do about it. Walmart is always pinching pennies, leaving jobs unfilled, thereby putting more work on its employees, increasing stress.

Pros

Still growing company, hiring employee of any age and with different background and diversity. Established working procedures and rules, easy to learn and adapt. providing job safety in this bad job market.

Cons

Low wages, long working hours 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. No flexibility to adjust your working schedule to your other jobs, family events, health problems. Products you sell is mostly imported from China, eliminating local producers.
