Pros

Very pleasing working environment. There's a lot of job security. Most of the time I feel comfortable. It can be very different every day. You don't do the same thing every day ... enless you're a electronics associate

Cons

Wal-Mart is starting to eliminate full-time positions. It has gotten worse over the years and it's entering an epiphany. If your store doesn't do well then they'll cut your hours. If you don't beg for hours then they'll cut your hours. You MUST be full-time to be paid fairly, otherwise you'll be making $200 a week

Pros

Better pay than similar jobs at similar places...and that's about it. Honestly, had the pay not been as good as it was, I never would have stayed as long as I did.

Cons

Management was frighteningly dim-witted Tried to make me work for 2 1/2 weeks straight after coming back from a week I had to take off to go to drill on the other side of the state (I'm in the National Guard) Intentionally scheduled people on days they requested off
