Pros

Decent pay for my neck of the woods, this is mostly due to it's extreme dominance in our local economy.

Cons

It's boring and monotonous. It's the same day in and day out, and you have to be really luck to get any sort of promotion.

Pros

There is a good bit of job security at Wal-Mart. It's hard to do anything bad enough to get fired,

Cons

Because it's hard to get fired, some people take advantage of it. (ie. come in drunk, goof off, have sex in the fitting room). Also, communication is almost non-existent between management and workers.
