Pros

Made friends with co-workers easily. Pay is good, starting at $9 per hour. You get 2 paid fifteen minute breaks and an hour of unpaid lunch.

Cons

No on the job training. You're told to figure it out for yourself. The stocking is easy but trying to figure out how to bin in the backroom with the handheld was difficult to figure out. There aren't enough handhelds or printers for everyone to do their own job. I was the only person in my department which was a terrible idea since I was only part time. Shipments would come in on my days off and I would get yelled at for not finishing them but I am only one person.

Pros

I met some amazing people while working at walmart. I was paid more than minimum wage. That's the only pro.

Cons

The management was very unfair and unprofessional. They constantly changed the schedule after posting it. They also gave hours to employee favorites. I never knew how they found out when i was looking for other employment, but that is the only time I would get good hours. I was promised higher positions on several occasions, but I was always given the runaround every time I asked about when I would start the position. I ended up just quitting.
