Pros

world beats a path to your door since it's one of the biggest banks in existence; great training ground and place to learn how a big company works; very capable executive team; good bay area location; some highly talented people throughout the ranks (but a lot of deadwood as well).

Cons

political; very fragmented with warring fiefdoms; cutthroat; weak middle management; too hard to get things done; very weak technology organization (especially in internet group); too much bureaucracy; incremental thinking instead of innovation; need to build a lot of consensus among warring stakeholders in order to get any project moving forward.

Pros

The best reasons to work at Wells Fargo is the brand name and the resume building, There are a lot of room for lateral shifts to keep people working fresh and challenging positions, the store manager is key whether you will enjoy your job or hate it.

Cons

The place is a chop house kill or be killed, somtimes I feel my ethics are tested every day from my co-workers and boss. The starting salries are nothing to go home and cheer about.
