Pros

Wipro does provide onsite opportunities and that could be a reason to join. It does have a presence across varied businesses and many fortune 500 companies.

Cons

Be prepared to work with people who do not have any IT background. Be wary of regional favoritism, career growth is not linked to performance.

Pros

Had a huge customer base and with this comes great knowledge about every aspect in VLSI. Also the employees had an opportunity to explore various domains in VLSI by moving from one customer to another. There are exams one needs to take up as a part of appraisal which empowers an individual irrespective the nature of work he does in his current project and keeps him up to date

Cons

All the above mentioned pros is now history with customer base dwindling and pay not being in par with industry standards after a couple of years of service or so. Progression in career very tough unless you have a supervisor who favours you more than anyone else
