Pros

Not very many to speak of. Coworkers can be nice enough. Work is interesting.

Cons

Exit opportunities and career progression is poor and training is deprioritised. As other reviews have said - senior management installed by current PE is focussed on gutting the business rather than improving it, so products and staff morale are continually declining. Avoid working here in all teams at all levels, the recent past was bleak with very little indication of improving.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we are sorry to hear your experience didn't meet expectations, we strongly believe in the direction we are heading. Over the past 18 months. we've made a series of bold changes to position Wood Mackenzie for long-term success - investing heavily in product innovation, setting our strategic direction, and building a culture that rewards pace and growth. Career development opportunities and training are fundamental priorities in our transformation. Over 10% of our colleagues received a promotion in 2025 and our Talent Development team provides a wide-range of learning activity throughout the year to help colleagues develop and progress. We understand that change can feel challenging but the steps we've taken are designed to strengthen our products, empower our people and deliver real value to our clients. We’re confident about the future and excited about what’s ahead. Thank you again for your feedback - whilst we may not agree on everything that is posted on Glassdoor, it is truly helpful to understand the perspectives of colleagues and former colleagues. We wish you every success in the future.
