Pros
Good starting point for people looking to get a career going, you can learn a lot and enjoy it at the same time. For a short period of time at least. Some really good people within the company, both talented and friendly. There’s a lot to learn for the first few years until it stagnates. Salary is OK, but still below the average for the title you’re given. Social events were always enjoyable, and the committee did a great job organising it to fit everyone. Office always had a casual dress and relaxed vibe. Some managers are great and truly do care about helping you achieve your career goals along with also looking out for your well-being. Cons
Organisation structure has totally changed and it’s messy, causing several WM teams to have their roles completely changed, with nothing being formally agreed and a lack of transparency of what the long-term plan is. Since adapting to the Verisk structure, it's shown that they aren’t bothered with career progression and managers have become micromanagers. Thus causing a lot of willing and keen staff to feel as if they've just become a number in the system. Even if you successfully meet your annual objectives. You’ll get a pat on the back and a minimal salary increase of 1-2% along with a very small taxe bonus. Everyone being told the excuse that it was down to the pandemic, but it was like that prior - will most likely be using that excuse in the future too. Being forced back into the office.
