Work life balance in a cushy culture

Pros

Every other Friday off + Nearly all federal holidays + 3-4 weeks of annual leave (4 weeks after year 2 of service). Some newer execs, who seem receptive to hearing staff and addressing some concerns. Overall pretty healthy work culture, compared to consulting/private sector equivalent environments.

Cons

Staff has lots of people with 15 - 20+ yrs of service, some can be a bit more resistant to change/innovation or at least need more convincing. Major nonprofit provides a high degree of financial security, but initiatives and budget are still fundraising dependent so can still have ups and downs.
