Pros
Worked on some interesting oil and gas projects with highly capable lead engineers and project managers in my time there. Had good non-technical skill training, however the technical and on the job training was poor and highly project dependent ie. you had to be lucky and available for the right job to come up at the right time.
Cons
A big company with big projects you can spend years stuck in mundane and boring work. They had a focus on being a 100% billable and often put too many engineers on projects. Lots of politics internally and with clients, probably the reason for the lack off work and massive layoffs and redundancies seen in the Perth office in 2012-2013.
