Pros

I was the IT Manager of a Canadian division also with an IT Specialist sideline role. Before they outsourced IT and laid us off, Worley was a great place to work. Plenty of collaboration, excellent camaraderie, Global teams, opportunities to travel internationally for work.

Cons

Many of us had to train employees of the outsourcing company to do the jobs we were about to be laid off from. The level of understanding was poor, so we knew our employees would receive inadequate service.

- Supportive and Friendly team - Deadlines were challenging but not stressful - Respect for personal time - In-house training and skill development - Healthy OT pay on specific projects. Can boost monthly salary by upto 25% in some cases.

Cons

- Little to no salary growth (Unless you are on a project that requires OT, you will be stuck with the same pay for a couple of years) - Sometimes bureaucratic HR procedure for simple things like stationery etc.
