Pros

Great benefits and low stress. There are locations everywhere and the company is well-managed from a fiscal and HR porint of view. Also, they are stable and well-respected -- you will be invited into many more deals and opportunities than are available at most companies. There is a strong and consistent emphasis on quality and ethics throughout the company.

Cons

Ponderous progress, HUGE bueracracy, and weak strategy and vision. There are many many people who are "retired in place", meaning that they have little incentive to change things, to innovate, or to make new things happen. And of those folks, most are most interested in gaurding their retirements and planning their vacations.

Pros

Flexible hours, virtual offices, good pay ranges.

Cons

Employees are always fearful of being laid-off. Employees are kept in the dark about future direction. Sales folks have compensation plans that encourage customer dissatisfaction. No cost of living adjustments in the last 7 years. Layoffs are a constant fear. Anne seems to think the only way to make a profit is to reduce expenses, but cutting the support staff only causes customer pain, leading to lower sales. Xerox is in a dying industry, and Anne has no clue to where Xerox should go in the future after printing.
