Pros

Good pay and was remote.

Cons

Management was terrible complete lack of leadership and operational vision. Toxic environment and leaders who wouldn’t listen to any common sense advice to prevent the downfall of Zillow Offers. Massive layoffs out of the blue with no warning. One second we had a meeting with our new Director because we were without one for over 6 months, where she was saying all kinds of positive things not more than an hour later another meeting where she was telling us that everyone was getting laid off. Absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional and had to sit in another meeting where the CEO was bragging about how amazing things were coming? Why would you talk about that with employees that are being laid off? Lots of racism going on in their so called groups for people like their Asian group I joined being half Asian I thought it would be cool to be apart of it. My very first meeting in the group all I heard was them talking about white people this and white privilege that and how there’s too many white managers etc. I had to leave and never went back to another meeting. That type of talk should not be allowed in the workplace it was supposed to be a place to meet and hangout with other Asians and build a community of friendly like minded people. It turned out to be a place to vent and talk bad about other peoples skin color completely racist and exactly what we wouldn’t want others to do to us? My half white side said this wasn’t for me bye ✌️. After the news of layoffs I tried to move to another department and was looked over and nothing came out of it. Worse part is they started hiring afterwards for the same position? Mind you I was recruited to Zillow and after getting laid off I applied to many other roles and including the same one I had even though they laid all of us and I didn’t even get an interview for any of the 10+ roles I applied to. I believe I was black listed due to my exit interview where I was professional and gave my honest opinions on the situation and how they handled it plus the lack of respect they gave to realtors like myself. Also way too much wokeness as for pronouns etc. very uncomfortable and way too liberal I should not have to change my vocabulary for anyone. Completely one sided when it comes to that part if you’re a strait male who only believes in two genders than you’re toxic especially if you’re white.
