Great benefits - healthy work-life balance, unlimited PTO, remote work, optional in-person retreats, health perks, compelling equity benefits. smart and friendly people in a highly competitive fast-paced environment.

Cons

I've been extremely frustrated with limited growth path opportunities at Zillow. Every year there is a marketing reorg and a new boss who I have to prove my value to. I see product partners getting promoted left and right, and marketing leaves a very limited window open for promotions which are typically given to the lower levels. The biggest irony this year is by end of 2024 they laid off a bunch of directors claiming we're too top heavy, and come February they promote a Sr Dr to VP (because we need another VP??). It's been a rude awakening to realize this place is ALL about politics and if you don't want to play that game, you're out. It doesn't matter how stellar your work is or how strong your cross-collab partnerships are.. all that matters is making your boss' boss look good and bringing up how amazing they are in every possible forum. It's sad to watch and makes me want to jump ship.

- Good benefits - work from home - quick sales process, lots of one call closes

Cons

- Monthly quotas that can change at any time - Three strike rule, if you miss quota three times you are terminated.. you will find yourself selling to keep your job, instead of selling to keep your job - Prospects are cannibalized by being called multiple times by multiple different reps. - Difficult to find good prospects that haven’t been called by someone else within last week or so - New sales leadership is trying to re-invent the wheel
