Pros

One gets to experience multiple domains within a organisation.

Cons

Tremendous work pressure No work life balance There's no fix work timings in real life. Exploitation of one being new in the company amongst people who have been in the system for over a decade High level of monopoly. HR is not at all strong and not bothered to check with an existing employee if he/she is facing any exploitation and never bothers to ask y one left .Strange work ethics

Pros

Great place to learn. I believe in upper management but lower ranks are too scared when challenged. Good perks and can have a balanced life after work

Cons

Mediocre middle managers / team leaders that block career progress if they felt threatened. Some of them called themselves experts and rely on dead-wood because “they know the systems”. You will have to navigate terrible politics environment. This is the right company if you don’t mind that your line manager is incompetent and blocks ur career progress. The good news is that company is changing due to losses so they will eventually get rid of all the dead wood

Pros

Fantastic breadth of business areas Great employee benefits Great employee mentality - supportive and driven Good salary Opportunities everywhere - for career progression and personal/ professional development

Cons

Like all businesses, 'change' and transformation is a priority. So, you need to be willing to adapt and find the opportunities in order to truly thrive. With such good benefits and pay, colleagues rarely leave, which means upward progression is difficult - but lateral development is in abundance. Offices are spread across the UK, meaning that travel comes with the role a lot of the time.
