I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ALDI (New York, NY) in Dec 2010
Interview
The posting was through one of our college job affairs.
You get selected by meeting general requirement in the very first round.
Then, there is presentation and dinner with other potential candidates and corporate people.
The next day is for individual interview.
If you get accepted there are more intensive long interviews to be followed I heard.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing really. I think it hugely depends on who you interview with.
My interviewer seemed to be very unorganized.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI
Interview
Applied at a hiring event for a store manager position, but was told with my college degree I should apply for District Manager position. Had 2 interviews with district managers. They were both ruthless and somewhat rude.

Question 1
Would you consider yourself passive-aggressive or aggressive?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Mar 2012
Interview
The first interview was a 1:1 phone interview and relatively easy with basic questions. The next step was an on-site visit to the distribution center. They are really looking for aggressive individuals. They asked me about 5 times whether or not I would be comfortable firing someone because I don't "look" like I could. I told them several times I would be, but if I had to guess they really wanted more aggressive individuals for the position. My piece of advice is be very aggressive during the interview process and how you answer the situational questions.
