I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2010
Interview
The first interview was with a senior executive and lasted about 1 hour. He asked questions about my experience with statistical software and how I managed to run statistical analysis, what the scope of the project was, which techniques I used, what I achieved. Then provided an example of a retailer doing bad in sales although a lot of money was invested in ads. He asked me reasons to justify why this might happen. I talked about the internal and external environment of the retailer giving examples of how products are placed, target groups, promotion types etc. He also asked me to take him through my cv and previous experience as well as asked why I left my previous company. The interview ended well and after a while I was invited for a 2nd interview with another Senior exec and 1 interview with HR. The interview with the 2nd exec involved a case study-very simple one which I had to read and answer questions (about 5). Questions were very general and I tried to use examples from my studies and from the work being done in Accenture (e.g. building ERP and CRM systems) etc. Accenture is a technology oriented consultancy so try to give loads of examples of software you used and platforms. The interview with HR lasted about 1 hour too and included competency questions such as tell me one time you lead a project, tell me one time you did very good in a project and exceeded expectations, why should we hire you, why do you want to work for Accenture, what are you good at etc. After 2.5 weeks I got an offer with a very good salary and bonus. In 1 month's time I started working in ACN,

Question 1
The questions about software (statistical) were very technical and required me to remember a lot about the process I followed. It was good I had read some of my uni assignments on which I used SPSS so I managed to answer the questions. When the Interviewer asked me if I used statistical software in previous jobs I was honest and said no but I am very willing to do so. Always be honest and show willingness to learn new things.
