I showed up to the Bangkok office. The person I was supposed to interview with first didn't show up. I then met with one of the directors for an interview which lasted maybe an hour, at which point he told me they would be making an offer.

Question 1
After the standard type of softball engineering questions (what does IoC mean, what is Agile development, etc) the interviewer described some of the problems they were currently trying to solve or had recently addressed with their software, and asked how I would address them.

Long process even seen: started in January, finished by August.
5 stages: HR interview (online), First Tech interview (online), Project submission, Second Tech interview + salary expectations, On-Site interview.
Each stage took a month for establishing and for getting a response.
Finally, when being in Bangkok, the summary interview said that they wanna continue and an offer will come within a week. Encouraged me to start looking for homes and schools for my kids, for planning my relocation (on my own budget).
Within a week no offer, no mail, no nothing. After 10 days got a mail saying more time is needed because the CTO is in vacation so no one can sign the offer (WTF?).
Two different excuses were sent in the following weeks.
After a month I sent a mail requiring for an final answer.
Got 2 mails from 2 different persons involved in the process. The first saying about another candidate, the second saying about a budget problem.
Very weird, very unreliable. For be honest even if an offer was sent after 1 month, does not look good.
