Interview
The interview process went exactly as described on their website. Expect mostly "tell me about a time when..." questions and have stories prepared ahead of time. I made it to the on-site interview round along with one internal candidate who was ultimately chosen for the role, but was encouraged to send over other jobs I was interested in as I was a "strong Amazon fit". So far this hasn't lead anywhere, but having just jumped back into the job market I definitely feel that the experience left me better prepared moving forward.

Interview
The interview process is challenging, not difficult, but certainly more than average. The initial HR screening call is fast-paced. I've read that Amazon prefers candidates to speak actively without too many pauses, so I kept a good pace. They look for a story, results & how you improved processes, and I had all of that ready. It was a 30 minute call, and the next day I received an online assessment to complete before moving on to the 2nd interview, which would also be the last interview with the hiring manager.
I took the time to practice for the assessment, completed it after two days, and the following day I scheduled my final interview. It was a call with the hiring manager (an EA) and another EA in the office. It was very smooth, friendly and very professional.

Interview
The entire process took about 10 weeks. The process started with the recruiter emailing me with 20 questions as the initial interview. I then had a phone interview with an executive assistant. Once I passed that interview, I was on to the Loop Interview stage. I interviewed with 3 EA, and 1 bar raiser back to back took about 6 hours. I then passed those interviews, but by this time, there was no longer a position open. Since I passed the interviews, I was eligible for the next available EA position. I waited about 5 weeks before there was an opening. Once they had an opening, I met with the lead EA on the team, and with the director, I would assist. That same day I was told I would be receiving an offer the next day.
Process:
1. Email Interview
2. Interview with EA
3. Loop Interview
4. Waiting until there was an opening
5. Meeting with the team
6. Offer
This was all done virtually due to COVID; I will also be relocating for this position.
