I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Peterborough, Inglaterra) in May 2019
Interview
I had a telephone interview. It was conducted by a fairly new member of staff who was a graduate (after looking up on Linkedin) and it was extremely rushed from her end as it was a Friday afternoon.
The interview itself wasn't terrible, but Amazon are deliberately vague about the hours you will be working. They will not tell you what shift pattern you will work (Wed - Sat or Sun - Wed) and if it will be days or nights. When pushed on this matter it seemed a sore point.
It felt like the process went ahead regardless of the content of your application material and while I appreciate it is a large company, seemed devoid of a personal touch at any point - contrary to the material you see on their website about working for them.
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
