Interview
Overall the process took maybe 2 months from initial call to setting up the 4 hour interview. I interviewed with the recruiter 1 hour before this. In my personal opinion. 5 hours for an interview process is a very long time. It's exhausting. They also schedule all the interviews in 1 day. So you're literally sitting there for 4 hours interviewing. It wouldn't be horrible. But it's all behavioral based questions. If you're anyone that doesn't like talking about yourself this is truly painful. How long can you truly talk about recruiting? For a company who is so progressive I think their interview methods are a major set back when considering the market as well as the current hiring trends. If it's painful for me, the recruiter, I know it's going to be painful for all the individuals I would hire to work at Amazon.
