I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Apple (Austin, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
I’m at the Apple engagement manager Online for an interview. He described a little bit about the business unit the project manager would work with and the Project manager role. Asked me to tell him about myself and then proceeded with a few questions.

Question 1
Have you ever had to advocate for a customer and if so, how?

Interview
The process was relatively straightforward, it was through an agency that would refer to the Apple hiring manager. Once that got through, you will directly talk to the hiring manager before other colleagues.

Interview
Was ghosted after HM phone screen.
Recruiter reached out for a 30 min chat with HM (which was set up promptly).
We had (what I believe) a great discussion. I have very relevant experience to the platform strategy they were trying to build.
A week went by and I wrote to the recruiter - was told Hiring Manager is on vacation and we should have some updates early next week (have heard this is a very commonly used response by Apple).
Towards the end of "next week", wrote to the recruiter again with no response; and now it's been about 7-8 weeks since the chat with HM.
Believe it is fair to expect, such a big company (with enough staffing manpower) to at least reach back out to people they short-list to close OR move the loop forward. That is the bare minimum professionalism a Company can show to someone they reached out to, and asked to invest time.
