I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Barclays (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2017
Interview
The process was unbearably long and I was left uninformed the entire process which took over 4months. I had 2 face to face interviews, 1 online video call and numerous unneccesary calls afterwards. I was advised I was the strongest and now only candidate. My work visa was applied and approved & then I got rudely rejected by some automated email from HR. Thinking everything was ok (as everything had excelled well), I emailed my contact at Barclays who denied the rejection "just ignore it". The next day she called me and said "we didnt get head count approval, sorry".

They asked about the 5 values of Barclays (R.I.S.E.S)
-why Barclays?
-economically, what do you think about Barclays and its role in the banking sector, particularly in the UK?
They also said this is not a 9 to 5 job, no one leaves the office at 5... setting expectations here to work overtime.
2 rounds of interviews, Lengthy process, hiring process is unclear or stalling over months. Hr may also ghost you. I cannot get updates about the interview process. Not until you get the offer letter, you offer is not secured.
Very long recruitment process that follows pre-established corporate guidelines with pre-set questions and scenarios, which leaves little room to other types of questions/discussion, and with no feedback being received from employer after 2 separate interviews

I met with the head of the department for an initial interview to get to know each other and see if our personalities were a fit, understand ways of working and what my back ground was.
I had a follow up panel interview to go through a more formal and standardized interview process where I was asked about my skills and experience.
