Barclays Assistant Vice-President interview questions

Fairly straight forward with HR really slow in moving things along.. competencies based interview followed by business line interview with the head of. Standard questions on competencies with definitions provided in your candidate pack that should help you prepare. Business line interview some time could include a presentation.

There were 3 rounds. 1st round was more on technical side and resume based. 2nd round was with the VP. It was face to face round and more resume based. 3rd round was with the Director. It was mostly on business skills, like say, tell me a situation were you have resolved conflict, etc. Then it was salary negotiation. Since my skill set was a good match to the position hired, I could negotiate well. I don't think they have a concept of joining bonus. So whatever incentive/ bonus that I was standing to lose at my existing employer I negotiated into my salary package.
