I applied online. I interviewed at BlackRock in Jan 2021
Interview
The application process consisted of a HireVue interview with two questions and was straight-forward. After that, I got invited into the first round interviews which were two 30-minute interviews with current analysts. The interviews went pretty well and were about my motivation to join the team and competencies.
The Assessment Centre consisted of a presentation (prepared in advance), two half an hour interviews (with VPs) and a problem-solving exercise. The interviews were similar to the ones before but with more difficult questions. The problem-solving exercise consisted of 5 case studies that go like 5 minutes and were not too difficult, but I got stuck in one or two.
All in all the application process was a bit dry, but I appreciated the amount of human interaction (even though some variation would have been nice). Disappointed by the fact that I was supposed to get feedback afterwards but was denied it when requesting.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2021
Interview
Applied online, got contacted by a recruiter a few days later. Had 4 back to back interviews with people in the team. Got an offer a week after. The recruiter was super responsive and made the process very easy.
I applied online. I interviewed at BlackRock (New York, NY) in Dec 2020
Interview
30 min first round with an analyst, and then a final round with 3 back to back one-on-ones with a senior person and 2 analysts. Honestly pretty easy, the most technical it gets is them asking you your experience with data, which you can come up with a pretty generic answer to, and some in-depth topic that you follow in the markets. Interview experience was pretty fun overall, but I do think they overstate the importance of their position, but that's marketing for you. They also asked me if I know how to code and I said yes but honestly I wouldn't have been able to answer if they gave me a pseudocode question so I'm glad they didn't press me any further. Sound interested and know what you're talking about and it's an easy interview.
