3 stage process
1 - HR Screen
2- Code pair test with 2 engineers. Fairly enjoyable test as the engineers were friendly and engaged and the test itself was pretty straightforward
3- Final stage 2hr interview with tech team to discuss previous work experience and technology used. Then a call with HR to discuss more generic HR stuff.
I was then ghosted after putting hours into this process, the BlackRock recruitment team were appalling - basically not replying to emails for clarification at any point and not explaining how to prepare for interviews - just show up at this time.
Be careful with these guys - after so long invested in the process I would have expected feedback.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
I had a great interview, I was told in an email that they would extend the offer. After that email there was no response,. I emailed multiple times for an update but no response from anyone over weeks.
I had interviewers during my power day forget they were supposed to interview me and was left in a conference room waiting until the next interviewee was lead in. The interviewers also bragged about how overworked they are which didn’t make me interested in working for them. They also refused to elaborate when I asked clarifying questions during the process. And this was after I had made it through several stages of the interview process.
