PLUM Assessment, Hirevue like Video Interview.Did not get past the interview stage but these 2 assessments were relatively quick. Did them in about <1 week from the time of application
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about ongoing affairs with a market in the native language
Very to the point, all questions they previously gave as a hint were asked and some extra stuff was asked but it was easy to guess what kind of questions would come
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Dec 2025
Interview
There is the initial Hirevue recorded video; typical questions but only one chance to record and the question is not available until you click record. After that, I had an call with a recruiter just confirming my interest and location preference. This position is *NOT* actually involved with data analytics. It is essentially working help desk with the goal of eventually moving to sales. Job description is a bit misleading, but the recruiter made sure I was aware of the true nature of the role in that first call we had.
After that is the Super Day invite: consisted of 1 session for a short assessment (mainly Python code questions), then a live demo from current employees in the role, and finally a standard interview with team leads.
The interview I feel went well and I felt mostly relaxed answering their questions. There are some role play questions that they will have you do. Ultimately, I was rejected with the feedback being to "make adjustments after they provide feedback within the interview" and that I didn't seem to be very passionate about finance and/or sales (fair evaluation lol).
