I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2017
Interview
The process consisted of two parts. First they did a technical phone interview through Hackerrank. Next, they asked me to come into their office where you do two more technical interviews and one non-technical. Personally, I found the process a really pleasant experience. Everything was really well organised and they did their best to make you feel comfortable.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
2 technical phone screens. 2nd with actual coding on hackerrank. In house interview was 1 day with multiple groups. Overall experience was very good. I felt the interviewers did a good job of helping me to show what I could do well, instead of finding out how well I did the small set of things they were asking about. First contact to in-house interview was about 3 weeks, and decision came 3-4 weeks later (HR contact took medical leave).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you design a trade order matching application?
Had a phone interview with them. Normal phone screen interview. Some behavioral questions plus quite standard coding questions. Asked a question about hash table at the end. One thing is Bloomberg recruitment team keeps sending emails reminding that the application is not forgotten but under review.
