I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2020
Interview
Personality test
Video interview
Technical test with stats, python and sql questions
First round interview including a 15 min workflow task (they give you a random workflow process and you have to explain how you can make the process more efficient/ what you would change)
Second round interview
Third round interview
They asked more or less the same questions for each round which I answered the same so I’m not sure why I didn’t get through. But in the final round they were asking some irrelevant questions about financial assets unrelated to the job spec. I was told to prepare for why Bloomberg and read up on the job spec, the last interview is supposed to be about you as a person ie your hobbies and interests outside of work. None of these kinds of questions were asked. After reading some of the reviews on here I won’t apply again as I feel they like to waste people’s time. As much as I need a job my time is still important and should be respected.
I think ultimately they do have a staff retention issue as they like to hire overqualified people to do mostly customer service and excel based copy & paste tasks. Their staff become unfulfilled and leave. If you are hired here for an entry level position, I would strongly advise you to make the most of the opportunities they offer and cut loose after 2 years before you get stuck with experience but no transferable hard skills.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Hong Kong) in Oct 2020
Interview
Applied through career talk, after phone screen with HR, there were 2 assessment days. One for individual and one for group assessment.
For the individual assessment day, there was a case study to extract information from couple tables, was not particularly difficult. Then there was a technical test which did not include any live coding, there were all mcs to choose which code was the right one.
For the group assessment day, first there is a networking session with current employee, be sure to ask some meaningful questions. Then there is a individual test on improving data pipeline. Finally, there was a group discussion/debate based on some given data, be sure to use the data given to make strong arguments.
Hr interview, asking about your background and motivation for the position. No technical questions in the HR interview. Assessment can be expected after the phone interview with HR.
The interviewer is nice and helpful
