I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Oct 2009
Interview
Asked very general questions. "What are your three biggest strengths?" "What is your biggest weakness and what are you doing to correct it?" It's very impersonal and you feel like the interviewers are reading from a script rather than having a conversation with you. Overall an easy interview but not a very enjoyable one.

Question 1
Can you tell us something you have been following in the news?
Interview with HR discussing role and how my experience as a relationship manager can translate into the role. It was fairly straightforward to learn my motivation and if i would suit the role.
Few stages starting with a telephone screen. Remain curious and personable throughout. It's worth more than knowledge. Learn a little bit about the product you're looking to sell. You'll be ok.

Question 1
What would you say to a prospect that tells you your product is too expensive?
Challenging, grilled by two senior sales reps on several topics. No technical questions, almost only motivation. They want to make sure you're committed and mentally ready for the job and the 6-months training.
