I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied online since I was contacted via the Bloomberg Institute's Talent Search on the basis of my language skills. I applied online with my resume, cover letter and answers to a few questions. I was asked to take the CAT assessment test within 3 days or so of applying. Then I was asked to do a video recorded interview after another few days. Contrary to what others have said, I did not get two tries and my questions were different.
My initial email said that I would get a chance to answer some practice questions and I can start recording when I feel comfortable but the interview process did not indicate practice questions and started counting down from 30 seconds after you click on the question. The responses also had a time limit. This contrast made me a bit frantic and more nervous than I already was and all my research and practice went out the window. I get that they want candidates who do well under pressure but I felt a bit mislead and of course, I did not receive an offer but I understand why. What I don't understand is the review submission portion if I can't do anything to change it. I called yello tech support but they couldn't help me at all at the time since I only had time to do my interview late after my current job so keep that in mind should you run into technical issues.
Overall, it was a great learning experience and I will say that the turn around time of their application process has been the best out of the companies I've applied for. I will list the questions of the interview but don't pay too much attention to them. Just do your research, practice and most of all...be calm!

2. Why the analytics team?

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Jan 2017
Interview
Conducted a video interview as I was not able to fly to London for a face to face interview. The interviewers were very nice and pleasant to talk to. Mostly asked behavioural and competency questions, as well as company focused questions. Walking into the interview, makes sure you know as much as possible about the daily tasks of the job you are applying to and the company itself, including the recent news. That is what my interview was mostly based on. The atmosphere was relatively relaxed and friendly.
I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2016
Interview
The first step was a video interview with 5 questions: why bloomberg, why analytics, what are you following in the market, have you ever sold a product or an idea, where do you see yourself in 3-5 years.
The second one was an on-office interview. It took 4 hours and it included: company's presentation, Terminal shadowing session, office tour, and one-hour interview with Sales TL and Analytics TL. They mostly asked behavioral questions about dealing with a client.
On the 25th of January I will do my last interview. Fingers crossed!
