I had a couple rounds of interviews (document screening, HR round, Specialist & Team Leader Round, Final Head round. All behavioral except the specialist & team leader round, which involves technical knowledge questions. During the HR round, the interviewer gave some helpful advice on how to approach the interview in the next steps.

2. Describe a time when you have conflicting priorities
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2025
Interview
Nice interviewer, was very understanding and went back and fourth throughout the question. You are expected to explain your approach and its time complexity. Medium question difficulty. Passed this round but failed the next technical round, There were 2 technical rounds, 1 system design round, 1 behavioral round.

Question 1
Asked to design a FIFO "trading system" which was a Python class with 3 methods. Had a method to get the minimum value in the internal stack in O(1), required a monotonic stack. Asked to get k minimum values after, used a heap.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2025
Interview
Total 4 rounds. 1st is HR, 2nd & 3rd are Technicals, and final interview is a senior manager round. Mine was a graduate level role. 1st HR round was kind of a screening round with basic technicals and behavioural questions. 2nd round was a proper technical round with a focus on DSA, Data Modeling, Taxonomies(bloomberg loves this), Statistics, and little machine learning. 3rd round was mainly a Exploratory Data Analysis round using python and pandas. Final round was a behavioural round with the senior manager. All the interviewers were super awesome. It felt more like a discussion, rather than a interview. All they want is to see you collaborate with them. The HR was super fast with the updates as well. Totally a very smooth experience and I feel really grateful to all the people who interviewed me and coordinated my entire process. Really excited for my joining date.
