I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (Huntington Beach, CA)
Interview
Boeing conducts structured interviews, and expects responses in the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result). There are usually at least two managers conducting the interview, and you are rated on each question you answer as the interview progresses. You and all other applicants for the same position are asked the same exact questions in order to evaluate all applicants on the same criteria. The questions are behavioral, and usually require conveying a story from your professional past.

Question 1
Describe a time when you thought you had a good idea but someone else thought otherwise.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing
Interview
The interview process was really informal. I met with my manager and he pretty much told me I was hired. However, the whole background check, security clearance, etc process was far more difficult than it needed to be. That was pretty indicative of how it is to work for Boeing, everything is much more difficult than need be.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Boeing (El Segundo, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
The interview process was slow. It took about 3 months from initial contact to get an onsite interview. I was called to do an onsite interview and spent the entire day onsite. There was one major interview that lasted about one hour, after which we had a facilities tour and grabbed lunch. Overall the interview experience was great.
