The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CGI in Nov 2008
Interview
The first interview was on-campus followed by two in-person interviews with the VP and an Account Executive. The on-campus was the touchy feeling interview. The in person interviews were job specific. This is no longer the process for interviewing. Interviews now are done by the Project Managers and Senior Consultants.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CGI (Washington, DC) in Apr 2010
Interview
Typical half hour college interview with a bunch of personality questions. I wasn't graduating for another year so I was told that there will be no offer coming from that interview. However I recently got a call asking me to come for a follow up this semester. The interview was pretty easy with basic personality questions asking to describe obstacles, difficult coworkers, leadership experience, and free time activities. I was also allowed to ask questions about the company and how i would fit into it since I don't have much (basically none) programming experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the interview was in the form of a conversational rather than interrogation. At the end I was asked if I had any closing remarks about anything on my resume or transcript - a gesture I appreciated because I did want to clarify a few points.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you didn't get along with a coworker or team member. How did you deal with it?
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CGI (Regina, SK) in Oct 2008
Interview
I had a phone interview with CGI. My prospective manager (director) called me to get familiar with me and my interests and skill sets. He then scheduled a phone interview with me in about a week. The Phone interiew was about an hour long and covered about my knowledge of working in different industries, my education and my prior experience.
