I applied online. I interviewed at DISH (New York, NY) in May 2017
Interview
First you would apply online and if they like you they will call you to schedule a phone interview. Basic questions and afterwards an in person interview. They ask you a bunch of questions not related to the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask too many questions and my interviewer was too happy. They want you too sell their products thats their main goal. Its annoying because that should not be part of the job. They are looking for more of a sales person than a Technician.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DISH (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
Took 5 min. They will hire anyone, high turnover rate. They need people to sell not so quality work. They focus on the wrong services for a communication company. They don't care what your background is like. They just need people to fill the work load. Other techs suffer because they don't screen correctly.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Nashville, TN) in Apr 2013
Interview
Applied online. It then took around two weeks for them to contact me and then do a online test. Once I passed the test I was called in for an interview. After that I was sent to go and take a drug test and after the results came back I was giving a start date for my orientation and training. The whole process from beginning to end took a month or so.
