I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Danaher (Washington, DC)
Interview
Applied on company website, received an email from internal recruiter in 7 days to schedule a phone screen. Unlike most large companies, there is no Calendly or Greenhouse scheduling service, so you are entirely dependent on that recruiter. Scheduling and sending out conference call instructions were horribly inefficient and requires the candidate to repeatedly email and nudge the recruiter. The hiring manager, however, was present, respectful and read mostly from my resume. I had no indication that it wasn’t a great fit until a week goes by, I email the recruiter, no response, and in a few days get a generic rejection at 3am. Danaher has enough resources to refresh job openings on LinkedIn every day, but apparently doesn’t actually invest in the other 99% of the talent acquisition process.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Danaher (London, ON) in Oct 2021
Interview
Fairly straightforward in the pandemic. Screening interview over the phone, about 45 mins length. Followed up with additional screening with HR hiring manager, basically redundant. HR attempted to set up Zoom meeting for next step, but it was set up wrong. Ended up another phone interview with potential report to.
