Danaher interview questions

The hiring manager is based in USA so we set up a Skype interview, morning time for him and late evening time for me. He missed the 1st Skype interview as his assistant "forgot" to schedule in the calendar and I was left waiting for the Skype interview to happen... We rescheduled to again my evening time.. There was a lot questions relating to why I left previous companies and my motivation rather then what I did, competencies and achievements.. I didn't feel that the hiring manager was really interested to know you as a person.
