I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The interview process was interesting. We had dinner the night before the interviews which was basically an informal interview and we were encouraged to meet as many associates and partners as possible. The day of the interview I interviewed with a partner and a director. Then we went out to lunch with an associate. The process was a little biased as some of the candidates were part of a program at their universities that feeds Deloitte first year associates. I went to lunch with an associate and two other candidates who were from Vanderbilt and knew the associate personally. At the end of our lunch the associate hugged both of them before we parted ways. The lunch consisted of me trying to get a word in while the associate directed all of her questions at the other two candidates. I pretty much had no chance of competing against them.
