I would like to talk about the interview in 2 phases
1. The HR
2. The Technical Interviewer
Starting off with the Technical Interviewer and the Technical interview, it was very good. The interviewer was clear in his questions and was gracious enough to explain them when I didn't know them. Even though I didn't do very well, he was excellent in his composure and the way he handled the interview.
The HR was totally unprofessional. At the end of any interview, the basic thing any HR would do and should do is to reply back to the candidate about the feedback of the interview and the result, even if the result is that of not selected.
The HR didn't even have the courtesy to mail back the feedback, even after I had mailed to them asking for the same as week after the interview.
If this is how the Epicor HR team treats candidates, I am sorry to say that you need to change. An interview is not an auction where you simply call out questions and hire humans. It is a process for which each candidate spends his time to attend. The least you could do is to graciously mail him the results of the interview, even though he/she is not selected.
