After intense preparation, I have completed 3 rounds back to back. Texted/ called my recruiter right away, informed him that I had 2 offers in my hands, and asked for timeline - expectations Expedia interview's feedback. ( he did not pick up, voicemail is full)
Yes, my recruiter preferred texting, no emails.
I felt I passed those rounds, as I already had 7 years of experience, so more than perfect for an intern role + finishing CS undergrad.
The next day I called again. Recruiter picked up. I asked if he got my text. He did. Looked at the computer and said:" Oh , your feedback is here. Seems like we are offering you a job".
I asked if he can send out an offer in 4 days' time, otherwise, I would ask for an extension on my current offers.
His answer was super unprofessional: " So what do you want from me? I can't rush whoever I am working with...... mmm.. let me call you back... I have another line".
I waited 3 days, he never called me back. Waited a week and reached out again just to be notified that I declined an offer because I had other ones to sign. What?????????
There is 2 reason I am writing this:
First - my interview was a few days after Russia bombed my town. I barely held put on those Zoom calls, without bursting into tears.
Second - I am now being rejected for full-time Program/Product roles because this gentleman simply messed up my interview process.

Applied through the general application portal for a new grad role. Was sent a coding challenge a few weeks later (2 leetcode level q’s with a few basic M/C). After was invited to a virtual final round which was 3 interviews: one on algorithms/ds, one behavioral, and one OOP design interview. Overall the interviewers and recruiters were extremely friendly.
