I applied for a sort observation online. I attended the observation to see how operations were ran. I was called within two weeks for an interview and background check. Anyone can get the jobs there are no qualifications.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Shakopee, MN) in Apr 2016
Interview
Very fast start with package sorting and go through typical questions like describe a time which you were helping someone with a fight situation or a distraught or upset customer
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FedEx (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
We went on line and watched a sort video then registered to come in for a sort observation. We walked around the warehouse seeing what it was like but for some reason we witnessed it during the lighter load right when the came back from break so that was pretty misleading. After watching, they asked us if we were still interested and who ever said the were stayed for an automatic on-site interview that lasted about 20 mins. The interview process was simple and easy if you've been through interviews like this. Ask about experience and attitude. We then filled out a questionnaire on the computer that was your basic personality type and how you would react in work situations. After that they say the will run a background check and when that comes back they will call you in for an interview.
