I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Pune) in Jan 2012
Interview
Was called in for a Test Analyst position in Manual and Automation Testing areas. They were looking for some one who could take care of manual and automation sides in parallel which is not a big deal as per my experience. However due to no project hands-on in both these areas, I guess they sidelined my profile. Fair enough I would say.
What was not fair that inspite of my attempt to ensure that the feedback mechanism is in place once I leave, there was no update from their side and even after 3 follow-ups I could not find a feedback. This means either they could not manage the hiring event as they had planned to; or there actually was no feedback mechanism in place.

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Apr 2012
Interview
I first received an email from Fidelity telling me I had made it to the first round of interviews. After that I did my first round phone interview, it was mostly information about the job and the pay, to see if I was still interested in the job. After about a month was the second round interview, with mostly personality questions (what would you do/ have done / would have done questions). And finally, after about a three month wait, was the third interview in the office where I spoke with two people from the branch.
