I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Glassdoor in May 2021
Interview
They never followed up after I have a technical interview. It didn't went great, but not bad and I never heard back anything from them. I guess if you didn't have a perfect interview at least someone should get in touch with you to give any updates on the process.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. This is not the experience we want our candidates to have and will work to do better. - Jake Dorochenko, Technical TA Manager
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Oct 2022
Interview
There were a total of 4 rounds for this process, starting with the recruiting screener and then followed by a hiring manager interview, portfolio/work sample review, and 1:1 interviews. Overall it was standard for UXR interviews.

Interview
It as a bit unorganized but not horrible. My application got lost in a switch between recruiters. I think other people in the interview loop didn't have to do a take home assessment and then it didn't end up counting for much in demonstrating my skills because I was rejected in the final stage for not having enough experience. I left with the feeling that I was rejected for not selling my experience as much as they wanted. They also have a DEI policy of not sending out offers until they get a 'diverse' candidate to the final stage of the interview, so it was unclear to me if I was interviewing just to check that box for them. The data scientist I interviewed with was pretty candid about her daily and weekly work-flow, which I appreciated.

Question 1
SQL questions mostly during the technical round, plus some experiment size/AB testing questions.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we do aim to have a diverse slate of candidates for every role, we would never add anyone into the interview process that did not meet the criteria of the role. It seems on this occasion another candidate more closely matched what the hiring team were looking for.
We did have a change in TA partner during your hiring process and I apologize that that impacted your experience. Thank you so much for your interest in Glassdoor and I wish you all the best for the future.
