I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Goodwill (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2011
Interview
I shopped at the Goodwill very often. I got to know the employees. When it came to time I needed to get a job, it was a no brainer to apply where I knew alot of people. I interviewed and was hired on the spot. I got a call for the interview the day after turning in app. Went to the interview 30 minutes later.
It was very quick and easy. It was on site and very low pressure. They made it feel very comfortable. The interview lady was very nice. I ultimately turned down the job, but I did remember the process and how pleasant it was.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
To describe a time where I had to deal with difficult employee
simple, barely any questions. they didn’t ask much, first time worker and they still hired me sooo but that was 2021. It wasn’t awful but not very structured. could’ve been worse
Called me on the phone and set an in-person interview. Asked a few questions in their office, with just one manager. Interview probably lasted 30 minutes, with basic questions about my cashiering experience, why I was looking for a job, etc.
