I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google (Dublín, Dublín) in Apr 2022
Interview
Phone screen with recruiter (they reached out on Linkedin). Following that was a technical round, mostly around Google offerings and trends in the landscape. Lastly there was a behaviorial round with a more senior member of the team, mostly with questions around the STAR format and why I would want to work at Google.

Question 1
- What do you think are some key trends? - Why Google - A lot of STAR format questions
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
