It was really hard but well structured. Great interviewer who made you feel important and special. Great follow-ups after the interviews. 4 in total. However, it is close to impossible to get hired.

The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (San Francisco, CA) in May 2019
Interview
It was a big learning experience with questions that were impactful and engaging. The recruiter never really got back to me though and they did not specify why I didn't get hired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When was a time where you struggled with a team and how did you overcome it?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Tokio) in Jan 2022
Interview
I had a 1 casual meeting with recruiter, and had3 rounds interviews (hiring manager, director from cross function team and director in Singapore). My whole interview processes took 2+ weeks, pretty quick. They gave feedback within 48 hours.
Google's interview questions for recruiter position werent too difficult (mostly expectable), but they really care about how you solve/tackle different situation, whether or not you are data-driven and logical. Overall I liked their interview style.
I really enjoyed my interaction with Japan recruiter and my first 2 interviewers, they were very nice and we were able to have good conversation and discussion through the whole interview processes. When I had a difficult time figuring out my answers, first 2 interviewers would give me hints.
However, my experience with Singapore team wasnt too positive compared with Japan team. Interviewer was very polite, however, I felt like my interview with him was like "interrogation" rather than discussion. At the Q&A session, Interviewer was also not patient enough to answer my questions. (one sentence answer to each of my question)
