I applied online. I interviewed at Google in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview started with a short introduction where I was asked to talk about myself. After that, we directly moved into data structures and algorithms questions. I was given two problems: one based on weighted graphs and the other involving mathematical logic. Both questions were of medium-to-hard difficulty, and the interviewer focused on my problem-solving approach, code correctness, and optimization. Overall, the process was straightforward but required strong fundamentals in DSA and a clear explanation of the thought process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A math-based DSA problem that tested logical reasoning and implementation skills.
I recently went through a 3-round interview process. The first was a recruiter call to confirm my eligibility and schedule the interviews. This was followed by two technical rounds—each with one DSA question and a follow-up question. While I did not receive the offer, the experience was extremely valuable. I gained deeper insight into interview expectations, sharpened my problem-solving skills under pressure, and learned new approaches to tackling complex challenges.
The telephonic interview just asks you about your resume and the projects you have done and then they ask for 2 programming languages you are comfortable in for the technical interview
